Q - I suffer with Sciatic nerve pain. Will Cool Blue Gel help?
A - Yes, it can help temporarily ease the pain associated with sciatic nerve pain. This type of pain occurs when the “trunk” of nerves which run from the spine, around your side and across your hip become inflamed, pinched or aggravated. This inflammation or aggravation can cause pain to run all the way down your leg and to the bottom of your foot. If you suffer with such pain, we suggest you apply Cool Blue Gel to your lower back across to your hip and about ¼ the way down your leg. Massage in well. Physicians also advise that you keep your leg elevated.
Q - Cool Blue Gel contains Menthol and Witch Hazel. Where do they come from?
A - Menthol is derived from peppermint. It is used in analgesic creams and lotions to help increase blood circulation to the area and produce a cooling sensation. This feeling is soothing and lasts for several hours. Witch Hazel was used by native Americans to treat a variety of wounds, insect bites and skin ulcers. Q - What is the advantage of using massage-in Cool Blue Gel instead of sprays or patches?
A - Massaging in Cool Blue Gel sure does have its advantages! Did you know massage increases circulation, allowing the body to pump more oxygen and nutrients into the tissues? It also relaxes and softens inured and overused muscles, increases joint flexibility, releases endorphins (the body’s natural painkiller) and improves range of motion. Spraying something on or applying a patch or “belt” containing an analgesic does not include the benefits of massage that applying Cool Blue Gel gives you.
Q - Your bottle says that you use “Molecularly Distilled Emu Oil”. What does that mean, and why is it so special?

Q - Is Cool Blue Gel something I should take to the gym with me?
A - You betcha! Cool Blue Gel is an excellent “warm up” rub, too! You can use it before and after exercising.
Q - How much Cool Blue Gel should I apply at a time?
A - With Cool Blue Gel, a little goes a long way. Only apply the amount needed to cover the area of pain and that will absorb into the skin with a few minutes of massaging.
Q - If I massage Cool Blue Gel into my pain area, should I wash my hands after applying?
A - You should. Our advice is not to let Cool Blue Gel come in contact with mucous membranes. For this reason, you should wash your hands in cool water after applying Cool Blue Gel to remove any remaining residue. Avoid touching your eyes, mouth or other sensitive areas, or picking up food and eating it until after you have washed your hands.
Q - If I get Cool Blue Gel in my eyes, what should I do?
A - First, wash your hands with cool water and soap to remove it from your hands. Next, wash the sensitive area with cold water including the surrounding area to be sure Cool Blue Gel has been removed. If irritation persists, contact your physician.
Q - Are there any side effects of using Cool Blue Gel?
A - You should not use a heating pad with Cool Blue Gel. Likewise, you should not allow Cool Blue Gel to come in contact with any mucous membranes, i.e. your eyes, mouth, etc. Do not apply more than 3 or 4 times per day. It is a rare thing to develop a rash or other side effect, but if this happens, discontinue use immediately. Contact a health professional if you are concerned about any reaction you may have.
Q - My order was damaged in shipment. What should I do?
A - Contact us immediately and keep the package in case the carrier needs to inspect it for damage. When you contact us, we will give you further instructions.
Q - Why is Cool Blue Gel in a bottle that sits upside down?
A - We picked this bottle because sometimes when you buy a product and it is getting low, you can’t get all the product out of the bottle. Our “toddle bottle” allows Cool Blue Gel to settle toward the lid, allowing you to get the majority of it out of the bottle so no product is wasted.
